May 4, 2021

MUSKEGON, MI (May 4, 2021) – Now into the month of May, beach weather is just weeks away in the City of Muskegon, and those wanting seasonal beach parking passes have several options to get theirs for 2021.

The $20 seasonal beach passes are now available at Muskegon City Hall, 933 Terrace Street, in the Treasurer’s Office and the Muskegon Police Department’s Records Office along with the city’s Department of Public Works, 1350 E. Keating Avenue.  City of Muskegon residents can receive one free pass per household.

When the beach parking kiosks begin operating on May 15, seasonal passes can be purchased on site. The kiosks’ paper pass can be traded in for a sticker pass at the three city locations noted above and near the beach at Ghezzi’s Market, 2017 Lakeshore Drive in the Lakeside business district and in the Pere Marquette concession stand, the Beach Cove, in the park’s bathhouse.

Paid parking at the beaches is enforced beginning May 15 through September 15 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week at Pere Marquette, Lake Michigan, Margaret Drake Elliott and Kruse Parks on Lake Michigan and Harbour Towne Park on Muskegon Lake. The 2021 prices for non-residents are $7 daily Monday-Thursday and $10 Friday-Sunday.

Seasonal passes are $20, and the annual stickers should be affixed to the driver’s side front windshield.
