Residential Monthly Billing Notice

Residential Monthly Billing Notice

RESIDENTIAL WATER ACCOUNTS

Starting November 2009, the City of Muskegon will begin phasing in monthly water billing. The City expects to have all residential water accounts on a monthly billing cycle by early 2010.

To avoid long lines at City Hall, we are encouraging citizens to make payments using our Online Water Payment Center.

Or, you can mail your bills to our automated lock-box center (make sure you include the bill stub) to:

Please call 724-6720 and they will be able to look up your account and let you know the status.

      Thank you.

I have signed up for the paperless water bill program, but have not received an e-mail yet as to what my monthly billing is. Last period that i was billed, or have seen a bill for, is from the period 12/01/09 to 01/05/10. It was with that bill that I signed up for the new paperless plan.
When logging on the web site, your site doesn’t show what the outstanding bill even is– just lets you make a payment. That is a little hard to do when you don’t know the present amount owed ! Have the new e-mail accounts just not been sent yet? Do I have to call each month to see what my balance is?- if so- I’ll go back to the paper billing method.

Michael, we have made some changes to the way the emails are going out. Many of them were ending up in spam folders, so this change should help in the delivery of these emails. Thank you for your patience.
