PUBLIC NOTICE
CITY OF MUSKEGON
PROCUREMENT OF CONTRACTORS

The programs for which these contractors would provide services include, but are not limited to, Community Development Block Grant, HOME Partnership Program and Michigan Department of Health and Human Services housing projects. We are looking for local contractors within the City of Muskegon in asbestos abatement, asbestos assessment, building/construction, demolition, electrical, house building specification writing, lead abatement, lead risk assessment, plumbing, realtor, sewer/septic, and tree services. All Muskegon County licensed contractors are encouraged to bid.

Bid packages will be available starting Monday, October 1, 2018 between 8:30am – 5:00pm at Muskegon City Hall, Community and Neighborhood Services office, 933 Terrace Street, Room 205, Muskegon, MI. Completed bid packages are due to the Clerk’s Office at Muskegon City Hall on Tuesday, October 16, 2018, by 2pm. This will be a sealed bid. The outside of the envelope should include the contractor’s name, address, phone number and type of contractor they are. Faxed or e-mailed bids will not be accepted. The City of Muskegon reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

Bidding contractors must include the appropriate licenses, liability insurance, Worker’s Compensation and certifications for their line of work.
