Laketon Avenue – Stage Change 7-26-2018

On Thursday, July 26th the project to reconstruct Laketon Avenue between Creston and Getty will progress to the next stage. Traffic will be shifted with one lane in each direction in the far outside lanes while crews work to complete pouring the center lane from Getty Street east to Creston Street. The work on the center lane will take approximately 1 week to complete.
After the center lane is poured and sufficiently cured to support traffic; work will shift to the Getty Street intersection. Work on the intersection is expected to start on Wednesday, August 1st (weather pending). During work at the Getty Street intersection, north-south traffic on Getty Street will be closed and detoured for approximately 3 weeks. All traffic traveling north and south along Getty Street will be detoured via the attached map. One lane of Laketon Avenue will be maintained in each direction through the Getty Street intersection.
