MINUTES
A meeting of the Election Commission for the City of Muskegon was held at City
Hall, 933 Terrace Street, Muskegon, MI at 5:30 p.m., Monday, October 15, 2018.

Present: Election Commission Members — Wanda Maitsey, Belly Ivory peasey——
Allard, and Deputy City Clerk Kimberly Young.
Moved by Wanda Matsey, second by Betty Ivory, to approve the minutes of the
July 16, 2018 meeting — motion passes.
The Election Commission and Clerk staff discussed appointment of election
inspectors and the need to balance political parties as well as personalities. Staff
explained that we are also trying to recruit younger inspectors that are
comfortable with computers.
The Election Commission reviewed and approved the appointment of election
inspectors for the November 6, 2018 Election.
