MINUTES
A meeting of the Election Commission for the City of Muskegon was held at City Hall,
Conference Room 103, 933 Terrace Street, to approve ballots, testing, early voting schedule,
early absent ballot processing and election inspectors for the May 7, 2024 election. The
meeting was called to order at 5:37 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2024.
Present: Election Commission Members Casey Allard and Wanda Matsey; and, Elections
Coordinator Shelly Stibitz
Absent: Betty lvory-Roberts
Motion by Allard; second by Matsey to approve minutes of the January 31, 2024 meeting.
Motion carried.
Motion by Allard; second by Matsey to approve the May 7, 2024 Special Election ballot.
Motion carried.
Motion by Allard; second by Matsey approving the accuracy testing, early voting schedule and
early absent ballot processing schedule for the May 7, 2024 Special Election.
Motion carried.
Motion by Allard; second by Matsey to approve early voting and election day inspectors as
presented and designate the clerk to make additions or deletions as necessary.
Motion carried.
Meeting adjourned at 5:58 p.m. f
