LETTER OF AGREEMENT
between the
CITY OF MUSKEGON
And
SERVICE EMPLOYEES INTERNATIONAL UNION (SEIU) LOCAL 517M
Both parties mutually agree to the following modifications in the 2026-2029 Collective
Bargaining Agreement between the City of Muskegon and Service Employees International
Union (SEIU) Local 517M (representing the Department of Public Works).
_ 51.9 OUTSTANDING SICK LEAVE. Accumulated sick leave hours paid out at
retirement at 3/4rate /00% under section 24-42 24.1] will be reclassified as vacation
time for purposes of computing the final average compensation reported to MERS. The
maximum number of reclassified sick leave hours included in the employees frozen or
termination FAC computation will be 144 hours.
Upon negotiations of a successor CBA, the above language modifications will be included in the
body of the contract.
