Infill Housing Project (3rd Amendment) (Pete Wills-Mike Franzak):

City staff is seeking approval of the Brownfield Redevelopment Authority to amend the
Brownfield Plan and add additional eligible parcels to the City’s Infill Housing Project (3rd
Amendment).

The 3rd Amendment adds an additional 386 parcels beyond the 119 parcels previously adopted in
the 2nd Amendment. This brings the total to 505 Eligible Properties for this project and the
lots are scattered throughout the city. The BRA approved the Infill Housing Project (2nd
Amendment) on November 24, 2020 and the City Commission on December 8, 2020. This
amendment seeks to modify the plan by adding in all of the government-owned, vacant
residential properties in the city.

Staff Recommendation: City staff has prepared this Infill Housing Project (3rd Amendment)
Brownfield Plan Amendment and recommends approval.

Motion: Made by J. Riegler, supported by B. Hastings to approve the resolution for the
