Regular Meeting Minutes
Monday, November 14, 2022

I. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Commissioner David Wentland at 4:00 P.M.
Present: Commissioner David Wentland, Commissioner Larry Spataro,
Commissioner Johnny Brown, Kristen Wade, Civil Service Director, Dwana
Thompson, EEO & Employee Relations Director, Leo Evans, Director of Public
Works, Scott Zonnebelt, Police Captain and Christine Evans, Human Resources
Specialist.
II. MINUTES
Motion was made by Commissioner Spataro and seconded by Commissioner
Brown to approve the regular meeting minutes of the August 17, 2022 meeting.
Motion Carried.
III. ACTION AGENDA
A. Job Description – Parks and Recreation Director
Motion was made by Commissioner Spataro and seconded by Commissioner
Brown to approve the new job description for the Parks and Recreation Director,
Commissioner Spataro had questions about the job description and Leo Evans
answered them.
Motion Carried.
B. Job Description – Arena Maintenance Worker
Motion was made by Commissioner Brown and seconded by Commissioner
Spataro to approve the revised job description for the Arena Maintenance
Worker. There were questions that Dwana answered.
Motion Carried.
C. Job Description – Police Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) & Records
Specialist
Motion was made by Commissioner Spataro and seconded by Commissioner
Brown to approve the new job description for the Police Freedom of Information
Act (FOIA) & Records Specialist.
Motion Carried.
D. Job Description – Director of Public Works
Motion was made by Commissioner Brown and seconded by Commissioner
Spataro to approve the new job description for the Director of Public Works.
Motion Carried.
