Regular Meeting Minutes
Wednesday, August 17, 2022

I. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Commissioner David Wentland at 3:03 P.M.
Present: Commissioner David Wentland, Commissioner Larry Spataro,
Commissioner Johnny Brown, Kristen Wade, Civil Service Director, Dwana
Thompson, EEO & Employee Relations Director Jake Eckholm, Development
Services Director and Christine Evans, Human Resources Specialist.
II. MINUTES
Motion was made by Commissioner Spataro and seconded by Commissioner
Wentland to approve the regular meeting minutes of the July 11, 2022 meeting.
Motion Carried.
III. ACTION AGENDA
A. Job Description – Community Engagement Manager
Motion was made by Commissioner Spataro and seconded by Commissioner
Wentland to approve the new job description for the Community Engagement
Manager, with a friendly amendment to remove the last sentence in the
summary. Discussion ensued about the job description and Jake Eckholm
answered questions.
Motion Carried.
B. Job Description – GIS Technician / Data Manager
Motion was made by Commissioner Spataro and seconded by Commissioner
Brown to approve the revised job description for the GIS Technician / Data
Manager.
Motion Carried.
C. Job Description – Development Analyst
Motion was made by Commissioner Spataro and seconded by Commissioner
Wentland to approve the new job description for the Development Analyst.
Discussion ensued about the job description and Jake Eckholm answered
questions.
Motion Carried.
