Regular Meeting Minutes

I. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Commissioner David Wentland at 4:18 P.M.
Present: Commissioner David Wentland, Commissioner Larry Spataro,
Commissioner Johnny Brown, Kristen N. Wade, Civil Service Director, Dwana
Thompson, EEO & Employee Relations Director, Jeff Lewis, Department of
Public Safety Director and Christine Evans, Human Resources Specialist.
II. MINUTES
Motion was made by Commissioner Spataro and seconded by Commissioner
Brown to approve the regular meeting minutes of the February 17, 2022 meeting.
Motion Carried.
III. ACTION AGENDA
A. Appointment of Steve Hammond to Fire Marshal
Motion was made by Commissioner Spataro and seconded by Commissioner
Brown to approve the appointment of Steve Hammond to Fire Marshal. Chief
Lewis was present and willing to answer any questions on it. It was approved
by the union previous to this meeting.
Motion Carried.
B. Change of wage scale for Fire Inspector – PT
Motion was made by Commissioner Spataro and seconded by Commissioner
Brown to approve the wage scale change for Fire Inspector – PT.
Motion Carried.
