Regular Meeting Minutes
Monday, July 12, 2021

I. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Commissioner David Wendtland at 4:02PM.
Present: Commissioner Larry Spataro, Sara Hough, Muskegon County Human
Resources Manager, Joseph Buthker, Water Filtration Plant Superintendent and
Dwana Thompson, EEO & Employee Relations Director.
II. MINUTES
Motion was made by Commissioner Spataro and seconded by Commissioner
Wendtland to approve, with correction, the regular meeting minutes of the June
14, 2021 meeting.
Motion Carried.
III. ACTION AGENDA
A. Approve the following job description: Water Plant Maintenance Operator
Motion was made by Commissioner Spataro and seconded by Commissioner
Wendtland to approve the Water Plant Maintenance Operator.
Motion Carried.
B. All actions taken by the Civil Service Commission during the virtual
meetings:
Motion was made by Commissioner Spataro and seconded by Commissioner
Wendtland to affirm all actions taken by the City of Muskegon Civil Service
Commission from April 2020 through June 2021.
Motion Carried.
