SPECIAL MEETING
MINUTES
February 17, 2015
Chairperson J. Hilt called the meeting to order at 4:04 p.m. and roll was taken.
MEMBERS PRESENT: J. Hilt, S. Kroes, D. Mayville, K. Panozzo
MEMBERS ABSENT: S. Radtke; L. Wood, excused; L. Spataro, excused
STAFF PRESENT: M. Franzak, D. Renkenberger
OTHERS PRESENT: K. Preston, 1727 Jefferson St; R. Panozzo, 1641 Jefferson St.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
A motion to approve the regular meeting minutes of January 6, 2015 was made by S. Kroes,
supported by K. Panozzo and unanimously approved.
NEW BUSINESS
Case 2015-05 – 1727 Jefferson Street. Applicant: Darren Rogers/Kimberly Preston. District:
Jefferson. Current Function: Residential. M. Franzak presented the staff report. The garage at
this location was damaged during a storm in April of 2014. The roof and internal structures have
been repaired. However, the door and garage door are not functional and need to be replaced.
The applicant states that the damaged garage door is not original to the house. They have
provided pictures of the type of door they would like to replace it with.
Board members reviewed the pictures provided. A motion that the HDC approve the request to
replace the garage doors (overhead and standard door) as long as all zoning requirements are met
and the necessary permits are obtained, was made by D. Mayville, supported by S. Kroes and
unanimously approved.
Case 2015-06 – 1641 Jefferson Street. Applicant: Ray Panozzo. District: Jefferson. Current
Function: Residential. This case was unable to be heard today due to lack of a quorum.
Although four board members were present, one of them was a property owner of 1641 Jefferson
and therefore could not vote. The case will be scheduled for a future meeting.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 4:20 p.m.
