                            from Muskegon High School.


Meeting minutes: A motion was made by Jon Rolewicz and seconded by Randy
Mackie to approve the October 2006 minutes.

DANGEREROUS BUILDING NEW CASES:

EN-060390 – 369 Isabella – DLJ Mortgage Capital Inc., P.O. Box 65250, Salt Lake
City, UT 84165-0250

Barb Delello from Remax and potential buyer, Ellis Rodgers was present to represent
case.

Barb Delello stated her office was offering the house on the market and had accepted
an offer from Ellis Rodgers who plans to live in the home. Mark Kincaid said notices
had been sent over a month ago with no response. Mr. Rodgers stated he didn’t know
what was involved or how to proceed. Greg Borgman explained dangerous building
procedure and encouraged Mr. Ellis to get in contact with Inspections. Mark Kincaid
said there was only an exterior inspection and a interior needs to be scheduled.

Staff Recommendation: Table case until December 2006 meeting, to allow potential
buyer to schedule interior inspection.

Motion made by Randy Mackie and seconded by Jon Rolewicz to accept staff
recommendation.

EN-060380 –758 Orchard – Paul Vickers, 145-37 232nd St, Apt. #2B, Rosedale, NY
11413

Ciggzree Morris, realtor was present to represent case.

Mrs. Morris stated the owner lives in New York and the balance on taxes is high, so
she had been authorized to do a short sale. She stated the home needed a lot of

work and is working with the bank but has not been put on the market yet. She said
the home had been boarded but kids tore boards off and has been re-boarded and
grounds have been maintained. A neighbor, Pearl Mallory said home is in bad shape
and kids have been playing inside house and is a hazard. Another neighbor, Mr.
Halbert Stegall said there is structural damage and has been sitting vacant for 7 years
and a eyesore to the neighborhood and the neighbors are ready to sign a petition to
have structure demolished.

Staff Recommendation: Declare the building substandard, a public nuisance, and
dangerous building.

Motion made by Randy Mackie and seconded by Jon Rolewicz to accept staff
recommendation.

EN-060381 – 1235 RANSOM – INDEPENDENT BANK WEST MICHIGAN, 4200 E.
BELTLINE, GRAND RAPIDS, MI 49525

Mark Kincaid stated no one was present to represent 244 Monroe, 1614
Elwood(Garage) and 1235 Ransom.

Staff Recommendation: Declare the buildings substandard, a public nuisance, and

HBA board fielded questions from Muskegon High School students.


OLD BUSINESS:

Mark Kincaid updated board on status of 790 Terrace saying drawings had been
received from engineer and was being reviewed. Ed Simmons asked about status of
487 W. Clay. Don LaBrenz stated timeline started from last meeting. Mark Kincaid
said some organizations have shown interest in helping with repairs.


NEW BUSINESS:

Greg Borgman asked if we could get a community officer to attend HBA meetings.
