CITIZEN’S POLICE REVIEW BOARD
MINUTES
Meeting Date: Monday, November 4, 2019 at 1830
Location: Muskegon City Hall, Room 103
Board Members Present: David Bukala, Ann Craig, Josie James, William Muhammad, Rozelia Patino
Faye Redmond, Ron Hayward
Board Members Absent: Ruby Clark (unexcused), Robert Roundtree (unexcused)
Staff Present: Jeremy Velik - Staff Liaison.
The meeting was called to order at 6:31pm, by W. Muhammad. A quorum was present.
Approval of the Previous Minutes
D Bukala moved to accept the minutes as presented, seconded by Josie James. No additional discussion.
Unanimous support. Motion carried.
Unfinished Business
J. Velik answered questions that were brought up during the previous meeting.
New Business
W. Muhammad brought up looking into possibly revamping the CPRB Guidelines in the future.
Public Participation
Mickey Wallace introduced himself to the board and expressed interest in how the CPRB process works.
Wallace also advised that he wants to assist by getting the word out about the internal complaint process and
offered to have complaint sheets available at his radio station 103.7 the beat.
Adjournment
J. James moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by A. Craig and the Motion carried. The meeting was
adjourned at 7:14 P.M.
The next meeting is December 2, 2019 at 6:30pm in room 103 of Muskegon City Hall.
