MINUTES
Board Members Present: Minister William C. Muhammad,
David Bukala, Quintan Cooley,
Carlos Florez, Nicholas Archer,

Board Members Absent: Ann Craig, (Excused)

Staff Present: Denny Powers, Staff Liaison
Chairperson Carlos Florez called the meeting to order at 6:44 p.m.
The Chairperson asked if everyone had a chance to read the previous meeting minutes
and if there were any corrections or additions.
It was motioned, supported and passed to approve the minutes as presented.
Unfinished Business
None.
New Business
It was noted that the normal day for the September meeting falls on Labor Day when City
Hall will be closed.
Vice-Chairperson Minister William C. Muhammad motioned that the September meeting
be cancelled with the exception that if an appeal comes in within such a time as it would
have normally been able to be heard at the first Monday of the month meeting, that the
board would call a special meeting. The motion passed by unanimous consent.

None.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:49 p.m.
The next meeting is October 3, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. in room 103 of Muskegon City Hall.
