RE: H-1690 WICKHAM, SHERMAN BLVD., TO GLEN AVE.

It has been brought to our attention that some Construction/Engineering websites may have posted the
wrong dates for the above referenced project.
Please be advised of the following:
The City of Muskegon, Michigan will receive sealed bids until 2:00 p.m. local time on March
26, 2013 at the City Clerk’s Office, City Hall 933 Terrace Street, Muskegon, Michigan, at
which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for the following
Project:
Project Title: H-1690 WICKHAM, SHERMAN BLVD. TO GLEN AVE.
Items of work include: Pavt. Rem, Modified 6903 Syd., Machine Grading, Modified 19.8 Sta, Agg
Base, 8 inch, 7066 Syd., Sewer, CI E, 12 inch, Tr Det B, 343.5 Ft., HMA, 3C 613 Ton, HMA, 4C 613
Ton, Curb & Gutter, Conc., Det D-2 Modified 3912 Ft. (Engineers Estimate: $344,406.10)
Copies of Plans and Specifications may be obtained on or after March 11, 2013 in the City
Clerk’s office upon the submission of a non-refundable $40.00 fee for each set. An
amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid must be submitted with each Bid Proposal in
one of three forms acceptable to the City of Muskegon. Contract documents may be
examined at the following locations:
- Builders & Traders Exchange, Grand Rapids
- City Clerk’s Office, Muskegon City Hall
A Pre-Bid Conference will be held in the second floor conference room (Rm. 203) at City
Hall at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at which time and place any questions
regarding this Project should be presented. Minutes from said Pre-Bid Conference would
become an Addendum to the Contract.
