Neighborhoods

The Neighborhood Associations of Muskegon (NAM) is made up of representatives from each of the City of Muskegon’s fifteen neighborhood associations. Each neighborhood association represents a geographically distinct neighborhood within the City. NAM meets once each month with City department personnel to discuss various issues and concerns within the community.

These strong neighborhood organizations and their joint initiatives have played a key role in driving progress in the City of Muskegon.

Dumpster Days

The current schedule is not final and may change. Please check back in the upcoming weeks for final details. DRAFT SCHEDULE.

Each year the City of Muskegon partners with our Neighborhood Associations to provide “Dumpster Days”. Fourteen Dumpster Days throughout the City provide residents the opportunity to dispose of rubbish and large items that would not normally fit in their garbage bins at no cost. The sites are monitored by volunteers and often turn into a great opportunity to meet some of the neighborhood association members. Annually the schedule is released and posted on this page in the “Helpful Links” section.
