Muskegon Mayor Ken Johnson and the Muskegon City Commission have scheduled an informational meeting and community conversation on the mixed-use, waterfront development at Adelaide Pointe.

The meeting designed for public input is scheduled for Monday Oct. 3, 2022 at 6 p.m. in The Loft of the Fricano Place event center, 1050 W. Western Ave. The next city commission discussion and action on the project can be expected at the Oct. 10 work session and Oct. 11 meeting.

The owner, development team and City of Muskegon staff will present the details of the redevelopment of the former industrial site on Muskegon Lake at 1204 W. Western Ave., answer questions and receive comments. Plans for the $240 million redevelopment include residential condominiums, a marina, boat storage and commercial buildings for a restaurant, event space and boat sales. Adelaide Pointe owners and developers have stressed their plans for public access to the entire waterfront of the property.
