My name is Officer Scott Hepworth. I am currently assigned to the Sheldon Park, Oakview, East Muskegon, and Marsh Field Neighborhoods as the Neighborhood Officer. I am a life-long Muskegon County resident. I graduated from Reeths-Puffer High School, and I attended Muskegon Community College where I earned an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice. I then attended Grand Valley State University where I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. I graduated from the Grand Valley State University Police Academy in August of 2001. I was hired by the Muskegon Police Department in August of 2001, where I worked in the Road Patrol Division before becoming part of the Neighborhood Policing Unit in September 2010.
I am looking forward to working with the residents, businesses, employees, and visitors to the Sheldon Park, Oakview, East Muskegon, and Marsh Field Neighborhoods. I encourage you to get to know your neighbors and watch out for each other. Remember that this is your neighborhood, and we need your help to keep it safe. I recommend attending your neighborhood meetings regularly.
