My name is Officer Mike Lamsma. I have been with the City of Muskegon Police Department since June 2000. During my time here at the Department I have served on both afternoon and night shifts. I am currently serving the following neighborhoods as the Neighborhood Officer: Jackson Hill, Marquette and Steele.

I would also be willing to meet with you by appointment at either 550 Wood St.or 1010 Marquette where I hold office hours. For550 Wood St, I am there the 3rd Monday of the month from 3:00pm-4:00pm. For 1010 Marquette, I am there the 1st Thursday of the month from 3:00pm-4:00pm.
The Marquette Neighborhood meeting is every 2nd Thursday of the month at Marquette School from 5:30pm-6:30pm. The Jackson Hill Neighborhood meeting is every 3rd Tuesday of the month at Smith-Ryerson Building from 6:00pm-7:00pm. If you want to stay updated in the activities of your neighborhood, I encourage you to attend. Also both Jackson Hill and Marquette Neighborhoods have a Facebook account.
At this time, there are no Steele Neighborhood meetings.
