Officer Michael Fort
Hello my name is Officer Michael Fort and I am the Nims, Nelson, and Downtown Neighborhood Police Officer. I am a graduate of Ludington High School in Ludington Michigan as well as Northern Michigan University in Marquette Michigan. I have been serving with the Muskegon Police Department since February 2006. I am a veteran of the US Army, where I spent three years with the 4/1 Field Artillery out of Fort Riley Kansas, and five years with the 1075 Maintenance Company out of Marquette Michigan.

If you would like to talk with me about an issue please feel free to call, or set up an appointment at my office, which is located at 930 Washington Ave. I also attend the Nims and Nelson Neighborhood meetings. Nims is held every 4th Thursday at Muskegon Fire Station #4 on the corner of Laketon and Lakeshore, and Nelson is held every 3rd Wednesday at 350 Houston in the community room.
