Muskegon Beach Parking Pass

2024 beach parking passes are now available for City of Muskegon residents and non-residents. 

Visitors to Pere Marquette Beach, Margaret Drake Elliot Park, Kruse Park and Harbour Towne Beach are required to have an annual parking pass from May 15 – September 15.

City of Muskegon households are entitled to two free beach parking passes. Free beach passes apply to residents only, not business owners or landlords.

City of Muskegon Resident Beach Parking Passes:

  • In-person pick up: the only location for residents to pick up their beach passes in person is at the Muskegon Police Department – 980 Jefferson St open Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5:30pm.
  • Mailed to my address: fill out the form below to have your passes mailed to your home.

Non-Resident Beach Parking Passes

  • Non-resident beach parking passes are available for $20

Locations to Purchase Seasonal Pass Stickers

  • Muskegon Police Department – City Hall 980 Jefferson St
  • Muskegon Treasurer’s Office – City Hall 933 Terrace St
  • Muskegon Department of Public Works – 1350 E. Keating Ave
  • The Deck – 1601 Beach St
  • Muskegon County Visitors Center – 610 West Western Ave

Beach parking passes can also be purchased from several kiosks in the paid parking area. There are daily and seasonal passes available at the kiosks. If a seasonal pass is purchased at the kiosk, it is REQUIRED to be turned in for a sticker decal that must be affixed to the driver-side lower window. You have 14 days from the purchase of a paper season pass to trade in for a sticker. If not traded in within 14 days and a ticket it issued, that ticket will not be dismissed.

  • The Deck – 1601 Beach St
  • Ghezzi’s – 2017 Lakeshore Dr
  • Ice Cream Shack at Pere Marquette
  • Any parking enforcement officer

Daily passes are available at kiosks for $7 Monday-Thursday and $10 Friday – Sunday.

If no daily/seasonal pass is visible, a $30 parking ticket will be issued. If a ticket is issued for not having a beach pass, you can trade in the ticket and pay only $20 for a seasonal pass within 14 days of the ticket issued.
