MINUTES
Board Members Present: Minister William C. Muhammad
Dardinella Hippchen, David Bukala,
Andrew Cirner, Quintan Cooley

Staff Present: Denny Powers, Staff Liaison
Chairperson William Muhammad called the meeting to order at 6:36 p.m.
Chairperson Muhammad asked if everyone had a chance to read the previous meeting
minutes and if there were any corrections or additions. It was motioned, supported and
passed to approve the minutes as presented.

New Business
Election of Officers
The floor was opened for nomination of officers
It was motioned by Mr. Bukala to nominate Minister William C. Muhammad as
chairperson of the Citizen’s Police Review Board. That motion was supported.
There were no further nominations or discussion.
It was motioned and supported to close the nominations for chairperson.
Mr. Cirner expressed interest in the vice-chairperson position. Ms. Hippchen motioned
to nominate Mr. Cirner as vice-chairperson. The motion was supported.
There were no further nominations or discussion.
It was motioned and supported to close the nominations for vice-chairperson.
It was noted that the normal July meeting date falls on July 4. It was decided to not hold
a meeting in July unless there is an appeal which comes in at such a date where it could
under normal circumstances have been held on that first Monday. If that happens it will
be scheduled for the following Monday, July 11. If an appeal comes in such that it
would not have been in on time for the first Monday in July meeting, it will be scheduled
for August.

It was motioned and supported to adjourn the meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:55 p.m.
The next meeting is August 1, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. in room 103 of Muskegon City Hall.
