Reese serves as a neighborhood park for the adjoining residential area. The various City softball leagues and high schools also use the ball fields. Permanent bleachers are provided for spectator viewing. The football/soccer field is lighted and services the adult soccer program and youth soccer. Large oaks along the parking lots and park perimeter provide shade and soften the overall appearance of the park. West Michigan Christian High School plays their girls softball games at Reese.
