Special Characteristics: Construction has been completed on several sections of the trail and three more sections are scheduled for construction over the next couple of years.
The Lake-shore Trail is Muskegon’s secret treasure! If you are an avid bicyclist or a leisure bicyclist like myself, the trails are a MUST ride. At different times of the day there is some of the most awesome scenery that you can only see or find by riding the trails. At sunrise the scenery is gorgeous..at sunset the scenery is gorgeous! And do not forget to take your camera at ALL TIMES! If you forget to bring your camera just one time, you will want to kick yourself like I already have myself many times, because the scenery always changes. It is never ever the same! I shouldn’t be partial to bicycle enthusiasts because if you walk or hike the scenery is just as beautiful!
This is one of the best attractions that they have put here in Muskegon and I urge everyone to take advantage of it either alone, or with friends, families and loved ones. Whatever..just CHECK IT OUT!! You will LOVE it!
