  1. Is there parking to use lakeshore bike trail and can I get onto the trail from this location?

    • Yes there is parking at Fisherman’s Landing for Bike riders who use the trail. Restrooms too. Yes you would get on it right from the site. Other access points are LC Walker Arena, Grand Trunk and Richards Park if you are traveling by car with your bike.

when do you open for camping?

  3. Do you have a brochure I can pick up that would show the rv park layout and also rates. Can I pick it up at the the office and what are your hours?

  4. My family and I camped here for 3 nights while visiting Michigan’s Adventure, and we were very pleased. VERY cheap rates (especially in comparison to other camp grounds in the area), very quiet and the bathrooms and showers are kept very clean. It’s close enough to stores and gas stations if you need anything but set back enough to enjoy the peace and quiet of camping. Not much of a night life, lots of elderly people but with little ones that was good for us. Nice little play ground. Really the only down side is that it is close to a bad neighborhood, but we didn’t have any problems and would definitely come back again.

  5. Ryan Rubritius says:

Do you have any seasonal sites available? If so what are your rates?

  6. PJ Davis says:

Do you know if they allow club car carry all carts on the city bike paths? Thanks

    • PJ, that is a great question, however, golf carts and carry-all’s are not allowed on the bike paths. :)

  7. Tammy Head says:

  9. Dennis Leonard says:

    • They usually come out right around the first part of November. This year it looks like they will come out next week.

  10. Dennis Leonard says:

Fish cleaning station? Where is it?

    • There is a fish cleaning station at Fisherman’s Landing. It is not run by the City, it is a private station, and the cost per use is $5. It is open during regular office hours during the non-winter months. You can call the office for more details at 231-726-6100.
