Beachwood Park
This park has the potential to maximize the natural beauty of the dunes while incorporating active recreational uses in the flat open spaces. Due to the sledding hill, this park receives considerably more winter use than most of the City’s parks. The large oaks provide shaded picnic areas along the periphery. A new section of the Lakeshore Trail was built through the park.
