News/Updates

Leisure Services Master Plan is in the process of being updated and we need your help!
The City of Muskegon would like your input regarding our facilities (parks, marinas, etc.) for the update to the Leisure Services Master Plan. The Leisure Services Master Plan must be updated every 5 years and it is time for an update. Please take a moment and fill out our survey forms. We will be holding public meetings once the updated plan is ready. There will be information for those public meetings in the newspaper and on the City’s website. We will also make sure that the Neighborhood Associations are aware of the public meeting dates and times so they may pass the information on as well.

Professional Sports Teams

Muskegon is home to the Muskegon Thunder indoor football team and the Muskegon Fury. The Thunder play in the Great Lakes Indoor Football League(GLIFL). The Muskegon Fury play in the International Hockey League(IHL). Both teams play at the LC Walker Arena in downtown Muskegon.
